House Surgeon
of St. George's
Hospital
near Hyde Park Corner
on his Oath says that the Deceased
was brought into the Hospital on Monday the 10th. of this
Instant October in the Afternoon, the Deponent Examined
her and found one of the Ribs on the left side was broke
which wounded the Lungs
, "the Deced told the Deponent
"the had fell down Stairs and broke her Rib," Deponent says
all proper care was taken of the Deced but she Died on
Friday the 14th. day of October Instant about Ten o' Clock
at Night, On opening the Body of the Deceased he found
the Lungs wounded by the Rib being broke, that other
parts of the Body were much diseased, and that he thinks her
Death was not occasioned by the breaking of the Rib as
abovementioned.
