taken before Us two of his
MaJesty's Justices of the Peace
for the
said County City and Liberty
Who being severally upon Oath say And first
this Informant Jas. Fitzpatrick for himself
saith that soon after Eleven o Clock at
Night upon Tuesday the 28th. of April last
this Informant was Carrying a Cloth Coat
& Waistcoat a pair of Silk Breeches and
Six Pair of Unnade Linen Drawers to his
Apartments in Tower Street Saint Giles
in the Fields
and at the Corner of Lombard
Court near the Seven Dials
three Men came
behind him One of whom Struck him a Violent
Blow on the side of his head which he believes
was with his Fist & Knocked him down [..]
he had fallen he received [..] other & [..]
in his [..]
in his Fall the Bundle of Cloaths
were under him when this Informant
Immediately begged or the party's saying Gentleman
I hope you are not going to Kill me upon which
one of the three struck him another Violent blow
on the Face saying Dawn your Eyes. when
another of them pulled the Bundle of Cloaths
from Under this Informant & [..] they
all three Immediately ran away with [..]
that this Informt. havg passed three Men a few
Yards before they followed him & knocked him
Down took particular Notice of them & being
certain he should know them again went the
next day in search of them and continued his
search untill theTuesdayThursday following when he
said [..] the person now present who calls himself

(and who he is very certain
was One of the three persons by whom he was
Robbed as abovementioned.) at the sign of the
King's head
a public house at the seven Dials
,
and [..] directly went for a constable in order
to apprehend him but upon this Informants
returning to the said House not having found an
Officer the said Richard Sharpless< no role >
was gones
