into the Deceaseds Face And Informant Saw the same
Person (he thinks) give the Deceased a Slap over his right Shoulder
Saith he was so Afrighted That he cannot Describe how
he was Dress'dThat the Deceased turn'd round and
Looked when he Received that Slap But said not
any thingThat as the Deceased Passed through
the Gateway into the Field Informant told him to
Prepare himself for his Latter End that he thought
he would not Come out AliveThat Informant
then went before him And in a few Minutes afterwards
Turn'd round and saw him lying on his Back And
some People Pulling him Along by One of his Legs
That Informant was on a Rising Bank when he saw
him on the GroundThat soon Afterwards Informant
Saw him on his Legs again But whether he got up of
himself or was Lifted up Informant cannot Tell
Saith That the Deceased and the Mob were going towards
Bethnall Green Road But some of them Said Don't
Let him go that way for he will go by the Justice
And some Cryed One thing and some Another
Some were for Hanging himfSome for Drowning
him And some Cryed Out for Mercy But there were
but few of themThat the next time Informant Saw
the Deceased was in a Gravel Pit of Water up as high as his
MiddleThat whilst he was in the Water the Mob
Pulled him with Brick BatsThinks the Deceased
was in the Water in about the space of half an hour
from the time Informant first Saw him at his own
DoorThat in some parts of the Gravel Pit the
Deceased might have easily Walked Out if the Mob would
