Who being upon Oath say that on Wednesday Night last
nine Ferkins of Butter were stolen out of a Lighter lying
alongside his Ship in the River Thoames
and the said Edward
Grey< no role >
for himself says that he is Apprentice
to the
said Wharton Wilson< no role >
that on Wednesday night aforesaid
he was watching on board the said Ship that hearing a
Noise he went upon Deck and saw three Men stealing
the said nine firkins of Butter out of the said Lighter
that a person now present who calls himself James
Glover< no role >
is one of the said three persons who was
stealing the said firkins of Butter he being on the
Lighter's Gunnel and handing them to another
Man who was in a Sculler
