The Information of James Willes< no role > and
Edward Rogers< no role > taken before me this
18th. day of October 1771

Who being upon Oath say And first the said James Willes< no role > for
himself says that on the last day of the Polling for Lord Mayor he had
his Pocket picked at Guild hall London of a Silver Watch now
produced, and the Said Edward Rogers< no role > says that he is a Constable
that a person now present who calls himself Matthew Marchinton< no role >
was delivered into his Custody at Drury Lane Playhouse as a
Pickpocket and that on Searching the Said Matthew Marchinton< no role >
he found the Said Watch now produced upon him
