for the said County
Who being severally upon Oath say [..] first this Informt John Whelan< no role >
saith last Yesterday was
fortnight about 9'o Clock in the Evening he was
Coming down Oxford Street
he was Picked up by
a Woman now present who calls herself Hannah
Akerman< no role >
who took him to the House of One Stanley
in Maynard Street in the parish of Saint Giles in the
Middx. When this Informant went into Stanleys
House he had in [..] Pocket a Silver Watch &
Seven Guineas in Gold & [..] Stanley shewed this
Informant a Room. and he locked the Room door
in the Inside & went to Bed with the said Hannah
Morning & found the Room Door opened his Watch
& the said Seven Guineas taken out this Pockets
& the said Hannah Akerman< no role >
also gone. Upon the
said Hannah Akerman< no role >
is being afterwards
apprehended & Chargg) by the sd Informant with
Stealing his Watch & Money she acknowledged
the taking of his Money but denied taking his
Watch
And this Informt. Mary Stanley< no role >
for herself saith that
Yesterday was fortnight about 10' o Clock at Night the
abovenamed Hannah Akerman< no role >
brought into her House
the other Informt. John Whelan< no role >
& they went to bed together
& about two o Clock in the Morning the said John Whelan< no role >
came down Stairs & told this Informant that he was
Robbed of Eight Guineas & his Watch & saith that the
said Hannah Akerman< no role >
was then dressed very meant but
the Next Morning when she was apprehended she had
entirely new Cloaths on
