Justices of the Peace for the County aforesaid
Who being on Oath Saith that diverse quantitys of Lead hath been Stolen from this Informant
at Sundry times And that upon Sunday last this Informant received a Letter from John Coy< no role >
the [..] Person now Present which he hath Since acknowledged to be his own hand Writing Wherein
he acquaints this Informant that he was Stopt with a great Peice of Lead and which Peice of Lead the
said Coy hath Since confessed is this Informants own Lead And that he took it out of some
Rubbish in York buildings
where this Informant is Pulling down some buildings

Who Saith that on Saturday last between ten and eleven at Night This Informant
Stopt John Coy< no role >
with about One hundred Weight of Old Sheet Lead and the said [..] Coy
damned this Informants eyes and Limos and Sayd he could send for his Master but
would not tell this Informant how he came by it upon which this Informant secured the
said Coy and the Lead
