AN INQUISITION Indented, Taken for our Sovereign Lord the King, at The Parish
of Tottenham in the County of
Middlesex , the ninth Day of February in the Twenty second Year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third , by the Grace of God, of Great-Britain, France, and
Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, before Thomas Phillips< no role >
one of the Coroners of our said Lord the King for the said County, on View of the Body of
Edward Prussia West then and there lying dead, upon the Oath of
John Atherton< no role > , William Gillam< no role > , Henry Robbins< no role > , William Castain< no role > , Thomas Figgis< no role >
William Handcock< no role > , Robert Lloyd< no role > , Thomas Sanders< no role > , Edward Bossell< no role > , John Dellow< no role >
Peter Tiffin< no role > , Joseph Marshall< no role > , Nathaniel Nicholls< no role > John Readshaw< no role > , William
Goodman, William Balcham< no role > and William Lovell< no role >
good and lawful Men of the said County, duly chosen, and who being then and there duly
sworn and charged to inquire, for our said Lord the King, when, how, and by what Means, the
said Edward Prussia West came to his
Death, Do, upon their Oath, say, That The said Edward Prussia West on the Eighth
Day of February in the Year aforesaid at the Parish and in the County aforesaid
having in his Hands a certain Gun Loaded and charged with Gun powder and Shot called
Patch [..] Shot It so happened That accidentally casually and by Misfortune the

IN WITNESS whereof, as well the said Coroner as the said John Atherton< no role >
the Foreman of the said Jurors, on the Behalf of himself and the Rest of his said Fellows, in
their Presence, have, to this Inquisition, set their Hands and Seals, the Day and Year first
above written.
