Informations of Witnesses taken at the Dwelling
House of James lighter< no role > the Sign of the White Hand
in Hampston Wid
in the Parish of Hampton in the County of Middlesex on
Monday the Nineteenth day of June 1786 Before
Thomas Phillips< no role > Esquire one of his Majesty's Coroner's
for the said County touching the Death of Thomas
Richardson
< no role > then and there lying dead as follow.

Thomas Freeland< no role > of Hampston which in the County
of Middlesex Son of Thomas [..] and a Wheeler upon
his Oath Saith That. on Friday last Deponent.
deceased and one Thomas Tagg< no role > were all together
upon Kingston bridge looking at one Walkers Son who
had [..] fishing Rod in his hand and were flinging
Stones at him and Tom Tagg who had flingthea
Stone at the Rod ran away and Mas Deponent
andthe deceased and same other Boys followed him
and deponent wanted deceased to [..] John Tagg< no role > .
just at this twice the deceased was most forward.
after Tagg who twiced rounds and flung a Stone
at deceased which Stone he had in his pocket.
intending as Deponent supposes to fling at him
but deceased being nearest he flung it at him
and deponent Saw the Stone but ye done Stone
hit the deceased on the left Side of his head just
above his Ear which seemed to slam deceased
as he tained or Reeled upon one Leg Saith
That Deponent had licked Tom Tagg to free.
