<p n="2820">The Committee having considered the two Proposals laid before<lb></lb>

for the erecting the Drug Mill and examined severally<lb></lb>
Mr. Jones and Mr. Lemon upon the Subject find Mr. Lemons<lb></lb>

ate to be the lowest, vizt. £123..16s..6d and Mr.<lb></lb>
Jones's £130..14-and having reason also to be satisfied<lb></lb>
with Mr. Lemon's undertaking have agreed to employ him<lb></lb>
and have given directions accordingly, his estimate<lb></lb>
having been signed by him and deposited with the Clerk.</p>
<p n="2821">The Committee taking into Consideration the Proceedings. of<lb></lb>

last Genl. Court of the 31st. July last, where by their Order<lb></lb>

June 12th. for employing Prisoners committed under the<lb></lb>
Lottery Act was directed to be suspended, and having<lb></lb>

ferred to the Proceedings of the Prison Committee of the 26th. <lb></lb>

1792, upon the Authority of which, their of sd. Order<lb></lb>

June 12th. & as made, and being anxious to avoid such<lb></lb>
difficulties in future in the execution of their Duty, think<lb></lb>

necessary and proper to obtain the Opinion of Connect<lb></lb>
upon the Point in Question, the Committee therefore request<lb></lb>
the Clerk to draw up a proper State of the Case, which he<lb></lb>
will present to the next Sub-Committee in order to take<lb></lb>
the Opinions of Mr Recorder and Common <lb></lb>
