Court thereon.Upon a Consideration of the Case lately laid before the<lb></lb>
Recorder and Common Sergeant, and their Opinions thereon,<lb></lb>
whereby it appears that Persons Committed to the Prison of<lb></lb>
this Hospital under the Lottery Acts. cannot be legally<lb></lb>
employed in the usual hard labour of the House; This<lb></lb>
Committee, upon a perusal of both opinions, having reason<lb></lb>
to doubt of the legality of Commitments to this House, of<lb></lb>
Persons of that description, recommend to the General Court<lb></lb>
to inform the Court of Aldermen thereof, and to request<lb></lb>
them to take the same into their consideration.</p>
