The Vestry Clerk laid before this Meeting the
following Letter from Mr. Coles Junr. Clerk to the
Committee of the House of Commons appointed to
consider of the present high Price of Provisions vizt
Ho. of Commons

Sir
You are requested by the Committee appointed
to consider of the present high price of Provisions
to answer the following Questions with all Possible
Expedition

By what Rule are the poor Rates assessed in your
Parish [..]

On the Rach Rent or on any proportional part
thereof [..] and how much is levied per pound [..] or
on any Estimate of the supposed Substance of each
Person Rated [..]

And if the latter in what manner is the
Estimate made [..] and how much is levied per
Pound
