Mr. Antony Kemp< no role > the Churchwarden proposed
that monies for effectually putting in Execution
the laws against un licensed Hawkers and
Pedlars should be raised by Voluntary [..]
Subscriptions

Mr. George Ritherdon< no role > proposed that monies for
the above mentioned Purpose should should be
paid out of the Parish monies in the Churchward [..]
Hands

And the Matter being debated

A Motion was made by Mr Philip Morgan< no role >
and Secondedby Mr Samuel Burton< no role > , that a
Sum not exceeding Two hundred Pounds be
advanced by the upper Churchwarden out of the
Parish monies in his Hands for the aforesaid
purpose and also to indempnify Mr James
Barrett & the other Defendants in the late act
at the Suit of Bourke an unlicensed Ha [..]
lately tried in the Court of Comon Places before
Lord Longbourough in which a Verdict was
obtained against the Defendants and also
to Indempnify said Barrett against the Costs
Expences of another Action now depending
agst. him at the Suit of Mordecue Manue< no role >
and the Question on the said Motion being
put It was Voted and Ordered
accordingly, And a Committee to Se [..]
said sum so Ordered properly applied [..]
now named and appointed (Vizt.)
