Mr. Edward Kibble< no role > one of the Renter Church Warden .
of this Parish for the last year acquainted the Vestry that
Thomas Grove< no role > the Son & Administrator of Thos. Grove< no role >
late Sexton of this Parish had made a demand on him for
a Sum of Fives pounds seventeen shillings as due to
the said Thos. Groves< no role > deced as Sexton as aforesaid & that
he had been sued for the same & a Declaration
delivered in such Accon & that he had been informed
that the said Thomas Grove< no role > deceased was indebted
to the Parish in a larger sum than the said demand
And therefore proposed to the consideration of ye
Vestry whether the said Cause should be defended
or the said Debt & Costs paid without any defensd
and it appearingto this Vestry taking the same into
their consideration & after several debates the queson
was put whether the said suite should be defended
or not it was carried for not defending it

Ordered that Mr. Kibble pay the said Debte
Costs & that it be allowed him in his Accots.
