Shaw
< no role > deced maketh oath that her said late husband
heretofore rented a house Called the Lyon man of War
in the parish of St Botolph without Aldgate in the Sd
County & was Charged to & paid Poors Rates for the same
That he did not afterwards rent a house of the yearly
rent or Value of Ten Pounds or Serve any Parish
office or pay any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes or do any
Act to gain a Subsequent Settlement that She was
lawfully married to her said husband & Since his
death has not lived as a hired Servant for a year
nor been married or done any Act to gain a
Settlement for herself

is now absent from her in parts beyond the Seas
that he has informed her that he was born in
Ireland & that he to his Knowledge or belief never
did any act to gain a Settlement for himself in
England That She this Deponent was born in
Lumber Court in the Parish of St Giles in the Fields
in the Sd County & never was bound an Apprentice
nor ever lived as a hired Servant for the Space
of a year nor ever did any Act to gain a Settlemt
for herself Save what she may have Acquired
by Marriage with her said husband to whom
she was lawfully married That She has been
informed by her late Aunt Martha Grepe< no role > and
Which she believes to be true that this deponts
late Father Thomas Beal< no role > deced that he duly
served his Apprenticeship in the said Parish
and died there Legally Settled That She this
Deponent hath a child named Martha< no role > aged
about Seventeen Months the lawful Issue of
this Deponent by her said husband
