Philip Hadling< no role > maketh oath that he was
heretofore bound Apprentice by Indre to Harry Digance< no role >
of Arundell in Sussex Mariner for the term of three
years & Served the whole of Such his Apprenticeship
That his Master with his Ship making Voyages to &
from America this Depont lay on board Such Ship
when he returned to England and once at the begining
of Such Apprenticeship the Sd Ship being moored &
lying off the Dog and Duck in the Parish of St Mary
Rotherhith in the County of Surry he this Deponent
lay on board Such Ship there for the Space of three
Months but never before or afterwards ever lay on
Board such Ship for the Space of forty days in anyone
Port or Place in England That he this Deponent since
the expiration of his Sd Apprenticeship has not done
any Act to gain a settlement elsewhere That he
hath a wife named Susannah Ruth< no role > to whom he was
lawfully married & a Child named Sarah< no role > Aged Nine
Months the lawful issue of this Deponent by his Said
wife to whom he was lawfully married
