Langley
< no role > deced maketh oath that she has been informd
by her said late husband & which she believes to be true
that he was heretofore duly bound Apprentice & served the
whole thereof to & with Mr Winter a Boat Builder
in the parish of St Mary Rotherhithe in the County
of Surry where her Sd husband also rented a house
of the yearly rent of four pounds & was Charged to
& paid Kings Taxes for the same to Mr Petty the
then Collector of such Tax about nineteen or
twenty years ago That this Deponts Sd husband
did not to her Knowledge or belief afterwards rent
a house of the yearly rent or Value of ten pounds or
serve any Parish office or pay any Poors rates or
King Taxes or do any act to gain Settlement
elsewhere nor hath she this Deponent since
his death been married or lived as a hired Servant
for a year or done any act to gain a Settlement
for herself
