oath that her late Father Alexander Clarke< no role > deced
as She this Depont. has been informed by her late Mothr
Elizabeth Clarke< no role > deced that her sd Fathr in his life
time & When a Single man was hired & lived as a hired
Servant at Certain Wages by & with one Mr Pitway
a Slopman on Peters Hill in the Parish of St Peter
near Pauls Wharf in the City of London & Continued
in Such Service under Such hiring for the Space
of a year & upwards & did not afterwards do any
act to gain a settlement elsewhere That she
this Deponent was born in the sd Parish & never
was Married nor ever was an Apprentice nor ever
lived as a hired servant for the Space of a year
in any one Place nor ever did any Act to gain
a settlement for herself.
