The Examination of Sarah Staple< no role > of the
Parish of St Botolph without Aldgate in the Said County
Singlewoman taken on oath before me one of his
Majesties Justices of the Peace in & for the Said County
this 13day of June 1783 Who Saith that
on the eighth day of February last past at the house of
one Mr Johnson in Cartwright Street in the Said Parish
of St Botolph without Aldgate she the said Sarah Staple< no role >
was delivered of a Male Bastard Child Since baptized
& registered by the name of Will Burr< no role > And that the sd
Bastard Child is Since become Chargeable to the said
Parish of St Botolph without Aldgate And that one
William Burr< no role > late of Cartwright Street aforesaid
Labourer did get her with Child of the said Bastard
Child.
