The Voluntary Examination of
Sarah Brown< no role > of the Parish of St Botolph without
Aldgate in the said County Singlewoman taken on oath
before me one of his Majesties Justices of the Peace in
and for the said County this Second-day of March
1780 who upon oath saith that on the Fourteenth
day of January now last past at the Workhouse in the
said Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate in the
County aforesaid she the said Sarah Brown< no role > was
delivered of a Female-Bastard Child which hath
since been baptized by the name of Hannah Brown< no role >
And that the said Bastard Child is become Chargeable
to the said Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate
And that Thomas Evans< no role > now or late of Crutched Fryars
in the City of London Merchant is the Father of the
said child
