maketh oath That her Said husband who is now at Portsmouth
was by Birth a Foreigner & never did any Act to gain
a Settlement in Great Britain That Several years ago
her late Father George Sheppard< no role > deced rented a house
in Lower Eastsmithfield in the Parish of St. Botolph
witht Aldgate in the Sd County & was Charged to and
paid Poors Rates & other Taxes for the same & where
this Deponent lives with him as part of his Family
That this Deponts Father to her knowledge or belief
did not afterwards do any Act to gain a Subsequent
Settlement nor hath She this Depont. been ever bound
Apprentice or ever lived as a hired servant for a year
or done any Act to gain a Settlement in her own right
Save what She has Acquired by her marriage as aforesd
