maketh oath That divers years Ago & Since her Said late
husband's death She was hired & lived as ahired servant by the
Year by & with Andrew Paupard< no role > in Queen Street in the
Parish of St Botolph without Aldgate in the Sd County Pawn
Broker at Certain Wages & Continued in Such Service for the
Space of nine Years & upwards & by means thereof gained
a legal Settlement there & has not Since lived as a hired servant
for the Space of a year elsewhere nor hath She been married
Since her Said husbands death or done any Act to gain anr Settlement

maketh oath That her Said husband is now absent from her
& as She believes on board one of his Majesties Guardships
That her Said husbands Father John Hodges< no role > divers years ago
Rented a publick house known by the Sign of the Cock in
Cock alley in the Parish of St Botolph without Aldgate in
the Sd County of the yearly Rent of Ten pounds a year and
upwards & was Charged to & paid Poors Rates for the Same as this
Depont has been informed & believes & at which time this Deponts
Said husband lived there with his Sd Father as part of his
Family & the Sd John Hodges< no role > did not afterwards do any Act
to gain anothr Settlement he dying in the Sd House That this
Deponts. Said husband to her knowledge or belief never was
bound an Apprentice nor ever lived as a hired servant for a
year nor Ever rented a house of Ten Pounds a year or
upwards nor ever Served any Parish office or ever paid any
Poors Rates or Kings Taxes or ever did any Act to gain a Settlemt
for himself That She hath two Children namely Richard < no role > aged
about Four Years & half and Elizabeth < no role > aged about
