Thomas Nayler< no role > maketh oath That he can
give no Account respecting the Settlement of his late Father
Thomas Nayler< no role > deced or of his Said Fathers Parents or
either of them Save that he has been informed by his late
Mother Ann Nayler < no role > deced that this Deponents Grandmothr
Elizabeth Nayler< no role > kept a Chandlers Shop at Mile End That
his said Mother Ann Nayler < no role > has informed this Deponent
& which he believes to be true That She was born in Mile
End Road near the White Horse which as this Deponent
has been informed & believes is in the Hamlet of Mile End
old Town in the Parish of St Dunstan stepney in the
County of Middlesex and this Deponent Can give no other
Account respecting his Said Mothers Settlement That he
this Deponent was never an Apprentice nor ever lived as
a hired servant for a year nor ever rented a house at Ten
pounds a year or upwards nor ever Served any Parish
office nor ever paid any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes
nor ever did any Act to gain a Settlement in his own
right That he hath two Children namely Mary Ann< no role >
aged about fifteen years & half & Elizabeth < no role > aged about
nine years & four Months the lawful Issue of this Depont
by his late wife Elizabeth < no role > deced to whom he was lawfully
married neither of which Children hath done any Act
to acquire a Settlement in their own Right.
