a hired Servant for a year nor rented a house of Ten pounds
a year or Upwards or Served any Parish office or paid
any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes or done any Act to gain a
Subsequent Settlement That he hath a Wife named Mary< no role > &
a Child named Mary < no role > aged about a year & half the lawful
Issue of this Depont. by his Said wife to whom he was lawfy
married.

maketh oath that her Said late husband was by Birthan Irishman
& never did any Act to her Knowledge or belief to gain a Settlement
in any part of Great Britain That She this Deponent previous to
her marriage with her Said husband was hired & lived as a hired
Servant by the year at Certain Wages by & with one Mr Guy
a Salter in Lower Eastsmithfield in the parish of St Botolph
witht Aldgate in the Said County & Continued in Such Service
for two years & by means thereof gained a legal Settlement
there That She this Deponent upon leaving Mr Guys Service
was married to her Said late husband & that although during
her Marriage She lived as a hired Servant by the year yet Since
her sd husbands death She has not hired as a hired Servant for a
year or done any Act to gain another Settlement
