Robert Pottenger< no role > maketh oath that divers years
ago he was duly bound Apprentice to his Father Richard Potenger< no role >
of Grace Church Street London Ironmonger for Seven years &
Served about three Months thereof with his Said Father and then this
Deponent was Assigned & turned over to Richard Gray< no role > of the Parish
of Saint Botolph without Aldgate in the County of Middlesex
Ironmonger where he Served the residue of his Said Apprenticeship
& by means thereof gained a legal Settlement there That he has not
Since lived as a hired Servant by the year or rented a house of Ten
Pounds a year or upwards or Served any Parish office or paid any
Poors Rates or Kings Taxes or done any Act to gain a Subsequent
Settlement.
