him & Which information he believes to be true That his
Sd. Father was duly bound to & Served his Apprenticeship
with a Cordwainer
but whose name this Deponent has forgott
in
Saint Catherines Lane
in the Parish of Saint Botolph.
without Aldgate
in the County of Middlesex
& by means
thereof gained a legal Settlement there That to this Deponts
knowledge or belief his Said Father did not afterwards rent
a house of Ten Pounds a year or Serve any Parish office or
Pay any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes or do any Act to gain a
subsequent Settlement That he this Deponent was never
bound Apprentice nor ever lived as a hired Servant for a year
nor ever rented a house of the yearly Rent of Ten pounds
nor ever Served any Parish office nor ever paid any
Poors Rates or Kings Taxes nor ever did any Act to his
knowledge or belief to gain a Settlement for himself That
he hath a Wife named
