Robert Colledge< no role > maketh oath that divers Years
ago he was duly bound Apprentice by Indre to James Bollard< no role >
of the Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate in the Sd County
Waterman for the Term of Seven Years That this Deponent
Served his Said Master there for about Six Years & then this
Deponents said Master together with this Deponent removed
to a Publick house Known by the Sign of the old Rose & Grown
in the parish of Saint John Southwarke in the County of
Surry Where this Deponent Served the Remainder of his Said
apprenticeship & by means thereof gained a legal Settlement
there to wit the said last mend Parish That he this Deponent
has not Since lived as a hired Servant for a Year or Rents a house or
or other Tenement of the Yearly Rent or Value of Ten pounds
or Served any Parish office or paid any Poors Rates or Kings
Taxes or done any Act to his Knowledge or belief to gain
a Subsequent Settlement That he hath a Wife named Ann< no role > to
whom he was lawfully Married in the Church belonging
in the Said Parish of Saint Botolph witht Aldgate
