oath That divers Years ago She was hired & lived as a hired
Servant by the Year by & with John Fry< no role > & of Rosemary Lane
in the Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate in the
County of Middlesex & Continued in Such Service for the
Space of two Years & upwards at the Yearly Wages of
Five pounds & by means there of gained a legal Settlement
there That She this Depont. has not Since lived as a hired
Servant for a year or Been Married or done any Act to gain
a Subsequent Settlement

Thirty three Years Ago he was duly bound Apprentice by Indre
to John Booth< no role > of the Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate
in the County of Middlesex Brushmaker & Served him as his
Apprentice for about the Space of one Year & half & then by
reason of ill usage from his said Master he this Deponent left him
& entred himself on Board Certain of his Majesties Ships of
War & never returned to his Said Masters Service That he this
Deponent never lived as a hired Servant for a Year nor ever
rented a house or other Tenement of the Yearly Rentor Value
of Ten pounds nor ever Served any Parish office nor ever paid
any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes nor ever did any Act to gain
a Settlement for himself Since his Said Apprenticeship That
he hath a Wife named Elizabeth< no role > to Whom he was lawfully
married in the Parish Church of St. Andrew in Plymonth &
two Children namely Mary< no role > aged about Six Years & Four
Months & Elizabeth< no role > Aged about Four Years the lawful Issue
of this Deponent by his Said Wife
