Irishman who died about two years ago in the Work house
belonging to the Parish of St Mary Whitechapel in the County
of Middlesex That She this Depont Can give no Account Whethr
he ever did any Act to Acquire a legal Settlement in any Part
of the Kingdom of Great Britain That She this Deponent
also well knewAnyone Cain his wife who died about fourteen
Months ago in Swan Alley in the Parish of St Botolph
without Aldgate in thesd County but Can give in Account
respecting the Place of her Settlement That She this Deponent
alsowell Know one Catherine Cain< no role > a Child aged about
eight Years the Daughter of the Sd.DanielLuke &AnnCain his Wife now in
the Workhouse belonging to the Said Parish of St Botolph
without Aldgate and who was Born in Crown Court in
Whites Yard in the Said Parish of St. Mary Whitechapel
She this Depont. being Present at her Birth and believes that
the Said Child was Baptized in the Church Belonging to the
Said last mentioned Parish
