< no role > deced Maketh oath that her said late
husband in his life time hath informed her
that her said husbands Grand father Thomas
John Hobbs< no role > rented a house of Ten pounds a
Year in the Parish of Hitchen in the County
of Hertford & paid Parish Taxes there & by
Means thereof gained a legal settlement there
And that he did not afterwards gain any
subsequent settlement And also that her said
husbands FatherHobbs [..] who is
now as this Depont. believes in Hitchen Work house
nor this Deponents said late husband deced nor
either of them as this Deponents sd. husband also
informed her this Depont. never gained any settlement
but in right of their sd. Grandfather John Hobbs< no role > deced
[..] And saith that she this Deponent hath a
Child Named Hannah< no role > aged about Two years the
lawful Issue of this Deponent by her said late
husband
