Middlesex,

to wit, Sarah Baker< no role > , Singlewoman , maketh
Oath and Saith, That she has heard her late
Mother Judith Kelly< no role > say that she was lawfully married to
one Michael Kelly< no role > , who was born in Ireland ,
and never did any Act to gain a Settlement in
England. That she can give no account whatever
of the Settlement of her said Mother. That she
has also heard her said Mother say that the
said Michael Kelly< no role > deserted her for several Years,
and that during his absence she cohabited
with one Baker, and that during such
absence she this Deponent was born in Long
Alley , Moorfield s, in the Parish of Saint Leonard
Shoreditch , in the County of Middlesex . That she
this Deponent was never Bound an Apprentices
lived as a Yearly hired Servant with any Person
or Persons for the space of One Year or upwards,
or done any other Act to her knowledge or belief
to gain a Settlement in her own right. That
being Poor and unable to provide for herself, she
hath been obliged to apply to the Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate
in the County of Middlesex for relief, and hath
been relieved by them accordingly
