Ann Kingdom< no role > Singlewoman maketh
oath that several years ago she was
hired as a Servant by the year with
Mr . Timothy Brown< no role > of Rood Lane in the
Parish of St. Dionis Back Church in the
City of London Brandy Merchant at the
Yearly Wages of Seven Pounds & continued
in his Service under such hiring upwards
of One year that she has not since She
quitted his Service lived as a hired Servt.
by the year in any other Parish or Place
for the Space of One year together or
Rented any House or Lodging of the
Yearly Rent or Value of Ten Pounds or
done any Act to her knowledge or belief
to gain a Subsequent Settlement And
further saith that being Poor & not able
to provide for herself she hath applied
to the Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of St. Botolph without Aldgate in the County
of Middlesex for Relief and hath been
Relieved by them accordingly
