Eleanor Hughes< no role > the Widow of Richard
Hughes
< no role > deceased maketh Oath that she was
lawfully Married to her said late Husband
at the Parish Church of St. Mary Rotherhithe
in the County of Surry about Sixteen Years
ago that her said late Husband then Rented
a Houses of Twenty five Pounds a Year in
Church Row Houndsditch in the Parish of
St. Botolph Aldgate in the City of London
known or described by No 4. & lived in the
same about Thirteen Years and was charged
to and paid the Poors Rate for the same that
he died in the said House & that she
continued to live therein about Six Months
after his Death, that she has not since
she quitted the said House rented any
other House or Lodging of the yearly Rent
or Value of Ten Pounds or paid any Poors
Rate or Kings Tax or done any Act to her
Knowledge or Belief to gain a Subsequent
Settlement, That she has a Child named
William < no role > aged about Seven Years the
lawful issue by her said late Husband
