Robert Warren< no role > Widower Maketh Oath
and Saith that upwards of 40 Years ago he was
lawfully Married to his late Wife Lucy< no role > (whose
Maiden name-was Anderson< no role > ) at the Fleet in
the City of London , That he had Issue by his
said late Wife two Female Children, namely
Lucy< no role > now about 28 Years of Age, & Mary< no role > Aged
about 16,-That this Examinant was Born
about the Year 1711 in the Parish of St. Clement
in Ipswich Town in the County of Suffolk
And this Examinant Saith that he was
never bound an Apprentice to any Person or
Persons whom soever, lived a Year under one
hiring, nor rented any House or Lodging of
the Yearly Rent or Value of £10, or upwards
served any Parish Office, or hath done any other
Act whatsoever whereby to gain a Settlement
in any other Parish Precinct or Place, he
having from his Infancy constantly been in
the Maritime Service till within these
ten Years, during all which last mentd. time he has
been employed in looking after Vessells in the
River Thames
