Memorandum there being several Mistakes in the foregoing Account to the prejudice
of Mr. Ford the Accountant, he applyed to the Vestry and obtained an Order dated the 24th
day of November 1755 whereby it was referred to a Comittee to reexamine the same
and accordingly the said Comittee by their Report dated the 20th day of Febry 1756
did find that the said Mr. Ford had in his said Account charged himself with the Sum
of Ten pounds ten Shillings as reced of Mr. Quarrill for Mopps which in fact was not
reced. by him and that ten pounds was overcast in his last Check and also that he had
omitted to charge in the said Account the Sum of nine pounds nineteen Shillings and
four pence which he paid to Mr. Rogers for smalls Bread and two Shillings allowed
103 17 11½

to Mr. Winne when he paid his Rent which said several Sume do amount to30 11 ¼


which being deducted from the above ballance of £103.17s:11½, the reall Ballance
due from the said Mr. Ford to the parish is only
73 6 7½

With which Ballance & no more Mr. Richard Houghton< no role > is to be charged in his
Account as upper Church Warden
