<p n="2391">The Committee had Ordered that Mr Treasurer should be<lb></lb>

Committee were of Opinion and accordingly resolved that the<lb></lb>

sufficient progress had been made in the said Building and<lb></lb>
the remainder of the Contract Money in the month of July<lb></lb>
upon the Surveyors Certificate that the Building was<lb></lb>
completely finished agreeably to his Contract</p>
<p n="2392">And had resolved that the Steward should pay five<lb></lb>
Guineas to <rs type="persName" id="BBBRMG20210_n2392-1">Mary Gearing</rs>

<p n="2393">The Minutes of the Bethlem Committee of the following days<lb></lb>
were read and confirmed whereby it appeared</p>
<p n="2394">Tuesday Septr. 20th.</p>
<p n="2395">That the Committee had contracted for Meat, Baking<lb></lb>
Bread and Candles for six Months from Michaelmas</p>
<p n="2396">And had Ordered that it should be referred to the<lb></lb>
Surveyor to consider the practicability of converting the<lb></lb>
room now used as the little Infirmary into a Kitchen<lb></lb>
for the use of the Matron and of converting her<lb></lb>
present Kitchen into a Warming room for the Patients<lb></lb>
and report his opinion thereon with an Estimate of<lb></lb>
the expence to the next Committee</p>
<p n="2397">That the Committee had taken into consideration<lb></lb>
the recommendation of the Sub Committee of the 20th<lb></lb>
August last respecting the improvement of the Princes<lb></lb>
and the Surveyor being of Opinion that previous to<lb></lb>
making any alteration in the same it would be<lb></lb>
necessary to pull down the defective Walls to open<lb></lb>
and cleanse the drains and sink a Well for supplying</p>
