P Ann clear of Taxes for the residue of the sd. Term<lb></lb>
The Petitioners have Agreed with the said Robt. Hardcastle<lb></lb>
to take Each of them 36 feet being the Westermost part of the<lb></lb>
said Ground leaving the Passage 11 feet wide (instead of 8 feet<lb></lb>
as was first intended) and desire that a Seperate Lease may be<lb></lb>
made to each of them of 36 feet and each at £7. 10 P Ann rent<lb></lb>
And they each Agree to layout £1750 in building a Capital house<lb></lb>
with Coach houses and Stables if the Governors will Indulge<lb></lb>
them with a longer Term than was Agreed to be Granted wth<lb></lb>
Hardcastle He being Obliged only to lay out £2000, on the whole<lb></lb>
ground And desire they may not be Obliged to build their<lb></lb>
Coach-house and Stables more than 2 foot Distant from the<lb></lb>
House Abulting South on the Hospitals Ground instead of<lb></lb>
6 feed mentioned in the Agreement with HardcastleAnd<lb></lb>
Mr Handley and Mr. Hardcastle being called in Mr. Handley<lb></lb>
offered for himself and Mr. Thornton to pay each 20 Guineas<lb></lb>
as a Fine for an Additional Term of 10 Years to make 72 Years<lb></lb>
from Lady day 1752 And to build their Coach houses and Stables<lb></lb>
4 feet distant form the said House Abulting South on the Hospls.<lb></lb>
Ground Whereupon the Comittee having Considered the Matter<lb></lb>
are of Opinion to Grant one Lease with Usual Covenants to<lb></lb>
Mr. Thornton of 36 feet of the said Ground from Lady day 1752<lb></lb>
for 72 Years at a Pepper Corn for the first Year and £7.10 P Ann<lb></lb>
clear of Taxes for the residue of the said Term Paying 20 Guineas<lb></lb>
Fine And that he may build his Coach houses & Stables of 4 foot<lb></lb>
