this City (Except the Presidents of the other Hospitalls of this City) being severally put<lb></lb>
in Nomination according to their Seniority Mr. Treasurer declared the plurality of<lb></lb>
hands were for the Lord Mayer Whereupon a Poll being demanded in behalf of<lb></lb>

Honour And that he would diligently attend the Service of the said Hospitalls &<lb></lb>
to the almost of his power promote the landable purposes for which they were<lb></lb>
instituted - And thereupon The Court returned their thanks to his Lordship<lb></lb>
for his Acceptance of the said Office & the kind concern He had expressed for the<lb></lb>
good of the said Hospitalls.</p>
