the County of Middlesex Gentleman Attorney for the above named

on the Twenty nineth Day of December last he saw Mr. Edward William
Hacking
< no role > the said Prosecutor's Attorney who acknowledged he was such,
and sayed he would accept of Notice of Tryal of the said Defendants Travers an
the said prosecutor to be well delivered if given to him or left with his Wife
at his Lodging or to that very Effect And further maketh Oath that he did
several Tinnes afterwards call at the said Mr: Hacking's Lodging in Order to
Deliver to him such Notice, but could not meet with him there, and afterwards
on Monday the fifth Day of January instant he did leave with Mrs Hacking
the Wife of the said Mr Hackingthe Wife of the said Mr: Hacking(as he declared
herself to be and the said Mr: Hacking had before declared her to be) at the said
Mr: Hackings Lodging at a Butottens No: 18: in Peter Street Great Saffron
Hill in the Parish of Saint Andrew Holborn in the County of Middlesex
a Copy of the Notice of Tryal hereunto annexed signed and subscribed
by the said Defendant Thomas Lewis< no role > This name instance is in set 1546. This set is in the group(s): GarrowsClients . , with the Words Thos Lewis, as and
for his Name of his own proper Hand Writing, and on Wednesday the seventh
Day of January instant he saw the said Mr: Hacking at his said Lodging
who produced the said Notice to this Deponent and sayed he would accept
the same as good or due Notice of Tryal, or spoke to that Effect, And further
maketh Oath that on the same Seventh Day of January he left another Copy
of such Notice so signed by the said Defendant as aforesaid for the said
Prosecutor with Mr: Hopkins a Broker at his House (being a Corner one)
in Broker's Alley or Bow near Long Acre in the Parish of Saint Giles in
the Fields , in the said County of Middlesex where the said Prosecutor had
worked and Lodged, (as this Deponent was there informed) same small Time
