On the Prosecution of James Gibbs< no role > for
an Assault

John Robertson< no role > School Master the above named
Defendant Maketh Oath and Saith that
Deponent gave Bail to an Indictment found
against him at the last Sessions of the Peace for
the County of Middlesex a Plea of Not Guilty
being at the same time Entred to the said
Indictment Deponent at the same time not
knowing the same Mis Informed his Attorney
thinking no such Plea had been entred to the said
Indictment therefore did not given notice of Trial for
the Present Sessions but came prepared to give Bail
to the said Indictment thinking to try the same at
the next Sessions of the Peace and Deponent hath
been since Informed that the Recognizance hath been
Estreated against him for want of such Notice of
Trial being given as aforesaid and Deponent is
now deady [..] to Enter into a
Recognizance to try the said Indictment at the
next Sessions of the peace for the said County

Sworn in Court this Thirteenth
Day of January 1784}
