before December last (which this Deponent beleives to be true) and Desired
the said Mr: Hopkins to deliver the same to the said William Spencer< no role > who
which is the same Place where this Deponent last Notice of Tryal before last Session
sayed if the came there he would or to that effect which the said Prosecutor appeared to and Dept missing his Oath a Bench Warrant Issued against Deponent and he obliged to Pay Costs And further maketh Oath
that the said Mr Hopkins's House is the last Place of Residence of the said
Prosecutor William Spencer< no role > that this Deponent has been any way able to
Discover; after having made Diligent Enquiries about & after him in that
Neighbourhood, and in Parkers Lane Drury Lane , in the said Parish (where the
said Mr Hacking formerly told this Deponent the said Prosecutor lodged at a
Cooks Shop, which Cooks Shop, on Inquire as for as this Deponent could
learn) was formerly held by a Woman who was gone away, and it was not known
where she was gone; In which said Parker's Lane at the Sign of the Garden,
Heart the said Prosecutor had used to resort, but had not so done for a Considerable
Time past, as this Deponent was there told by the Land lord, and which he
verily beleives to be true, And this Deponent further maketh Oath that
he serily beleives that the said Prosecutor hath by the Desire or Cont [..]
of the said Mr Hacking purposely secreted himself and kept out of that
Neighbourhood and the said Defendants knowledge, and of this Deponent, to
avoid being served with a Notice of the said Defendants trying his Travers
on the said Indictment
