to take of the Trunk as aforesaid And the said Thomas

that he came out at the same time to assist in taking off the
Luggage that he saw the Box lying by the door and ten Man
standing viz One on each side of the door That upon this Informant attempting
to lay hold of the Box, one of the said Men told this Informant
"not to meddle with it but to assist in taking off the Trunk
That this Informant repeatedly asked said Person whether he
was the Gentleman that had come in the Chaise, and said Man
as repeatedly told this Informant to get off the Turnk that
in a Short time the Box was missed; and further says he doth
verity believe that a person now present who calls himself

the conservation with this Informant as aforesaid And the
said Thomas Carpmeal< no role > says that on Friday the 7th Instant
he apprehended the said Philip Gibson< no role > and Charles Stokes< no role > now
present, who were walking together in Moorfields , and in
said Stokes's Breeches (concealed) he found the forty Bills
of Exchange now produced tied up in a Handkerchief And
the said Charles Jealons< no role > says that he Searched said Gibson at
this time and in his night hand Coat Pocket he found the
Book now produced and further says that the Sums of Money
which appear entered in said Book, exactly correspond with the
Amount of the Sum expressed in each of the Bills of Exchange
now produced by the said Thomas Carpmeal< no role >
