Writing that Informant examined it and told the Clerk that
brought it that it was not of his Hand writing that
Informant then went with the Clerk that brought the Draft to
Messrs. Staples Dunstable and Company's Banking House and
told the said Informant Josiah Baskard that the Draft was
Forgery. That Informant soon after went in Company
with Bartlett< no role > and other in search of the Prisoner to Saint
Clements Coffee House in the Strand and not finding him
there they went to the Rotell in Russell Street where
they [..] barnt learnt he was gone from thence that
Informant then dropt the pursuant

Informant Carey Bartlett farther saith that about half an
Hour after the Informant William Pollard< no role > left him
a Charman came to this Informant at his Master House
and enquired of him if Carey Barlett the Waiter was returned
and what he held done in regard of the Note he had taken
into the City for a Gentleman that shop there the preceding
Night that Informant then askt the Chairman where
he saw the Gentleman and he replied in Saint Martins Lane
and that the Gentleman told him that he should be at Old
Hanghton Coffee House or Wood in the Garden when he
returned. That Informant thereupon went [..]
[..] down Russell Street and saw the Prisoner Standing
at the Corner of Bridges Street that Informant then
immediately went Home to acquaint his Master where
the Prisoner was, who accompanied Informant into
