The Information of Lazarus Lee< no role > and Catherine< no role >
his wife taken before me this 14th. day of
October 1769

Who being upon Oath severally say and first the said Catherine Lee< no role > for herself
says that on Friday the 18th. of August Last between 12 & 1 o'Clock a
Number of Persons came to the Door of the House in which this Informant
lived at that Time in Booth street spital fields , that they attemped to break
the Door that Mr. Goddard the Land lady of the said house opened the Door
after they had the Windows, that about ten Men armed with Pistols
Cultasses and other oftensive Weapone then ordered the said house and
went up Stairs saying they wanted the said Lazarus Lee< no role > , that not finding him up
Stairs they came down Stairs again and searched in the Collars and other parts
of the house for the said Lazarus, that during the Time they staid in the house
they fired off several Pistols and used many threating Expressions
towards this Informant and her said husband, and said if they caught the
said Lararus they would kill him and if they caught hom afterwards they
would hang him in Spital fields Market , and the said Lararus Lee
for himself says that on the said night as he this Informant was
coming home from the Queen's head in Cristin Street he was met in
Brick Lane by a number of persons armed with Pistols Cutlaper and
other offenside Weapon that one of the said Persons to wit William Duff< no role >
immediately wounded this Informant on the head with a Cutlass that he this
Informant also received several other Wounds from the said persons by Pistols
and Cutlasses and that they left him saying hehadwas now done for,
says that William Duff< no role > Michael Moore< no role > Andrew Mahoney< no role > Robert Campbell< no role > This name instance is in set 3700.
Patrick Pickle< no role > , Joseph Colemant & David Collins< no role > were some of the persons
who were so armed as aforesaid with Pistols and Cultases and wounded this
Informant, and this Informant Catharine Lee for hereself says that
William Duff< no role > , Miche Moore Robert Campbell< no role > and Andrew Matoney
and David Collins< no role > are some of the persons who so forsibly came into
her house as aforesaid with Pistols cutlasses and other offenwise Weapons
and threatmend this Informant and her husband
