Bishop Gate Without in the City of London Weaver
taken upon Oath the thirdday of November in the Year
of our Lord 1769 before me David [..] Wilmot< no role >
Esquire one of his Majesty's Justices of
Peace for the Country of Middlesex

This Informant upon his Oath saith that in the
Month of September last on or about the Twelfth day of the same Month on a Tuesday between
one and two o'Clock in the Morning this Informant
being in Bed in his house in Artillery Lane in
the parish aforesaid certain persons came and
were making into his [..] house and broke the pannels of the door & called to him to
getup which this Informant accordingly
did and went and opened the Door after the outer Shelter was broke This Informant then saw Philip
Gossett
< no role > and four or five other persons enter his
said house two or three of whom went up Stairs
to this Informant Work shop and said Philip
Gosset
< no role > who said below talked with this Informant
about his Work and this Informant told him
it would be the wrongest thing the Cutton
ever did if they cut she same, and after the
said Philip Gosset< no role > had talked some time with
this Informant he the said Gosset called down
the persons who were above Stairs and they
all went out and this Informant shut she
Door after them And this Informant says
that he believes the said persons consulted
together for about two Minutes and then
knocked atcame again to the Door and demanded this Informant to
open the Door which he accordingly did
