An Inquisition Indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the King at the Parish of Saint John
within the Borough of Southwark in the County of Surrey on the eighth day of December in the thirtieth year of
the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King
Defender of the Faith etc before Thomas Shelton< no role > Gentleman Coroner of our said Lord the King the City of London and Borough of Southwark on view of the body of James Murray< no role > now here lying dead by their oath of Mormaduke Shaw< no role > Richard Luker< no role > William Anderson< no role > Thomas Nevell George
Edmonds John Chowne Frances Brogdone< no role > John Grinsted< no role > James Mates< no role > William Weatherstone< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. John Hutchind Luke
Nunnery and< no role > Thomas Harrison< no role > good and lawful men of the Borough of Southwark in the County aforesaid who being
now here duly chosen sworn and charged to inquire for our said Lord the King when how and in what manner the said
James Murray< no role > cause to his death say upon their oath that the said James Murray< no role > in the sixteenth day of November
in the Year aforesaid at the Parish aforesaid within the Borough aforesaid in the County aforesaid being in and on heared
a certain Boat on the River Thames there the said James Murray< no role > This name instance is in set 1419. This set is in the group(s): GarrowsClients . [..] accidentally casually and by misfortune fell
from and out of the said Boat into the said River Thames and in and with the Waters of the said River was then
and there suffocated and drowned Of which said Suffocation and drowning he the said James Murray< no role > This name instance is in set 1419. This set is in the group(s): GarrowsClients . did then
and there die And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their oath aforesaid do say that the said James Murray< no role > This name instance is in set 1419. This set is in the group(s): GarrowsClients . in manner and
by the means aforesaid accidentally casually and by misfortune was suffocated and drowned In Witness
whereof as well the said Coroner as the Said Mormaduke Shaw< no role > the Foreman of the said Jurors on behalf of himself
and the rest of his Fellows in their presence have to this Inquisition set their hands and seals the day year and
place first above written.
