Thomas Bunyan< no role > Maketh oath that divers Years
ago he rented a house in New Court in Nightingale Lane in the
Parish of Saint John Wapping in the County of Middlesex
and was Charged to and Paid Kings Taxes for the Same for
many Years and by means thereof as he is Advised gained a
legal Settlement there That he this Depont. hath not Since paid
the Kings Tax elsewhere nor hath he Since rented a house of the
Yearly Rent or Value of Ten Pounds or Served any Parish
office or Paid any Poors Rates nor to his Knowledge or belief
hath he done any Act to gain a Subsequent Settlement
