Examination TextEleanor Flin aged 25 Years upon her Oath saith that she was never Married nor bound Apprentice, that she was a Yearly hired Servant with Mr John Hoskins at the Sign of the Two Angels & Crown in the little Saint Martins Lane in the Parish of Saint Martin in the Fields within the Liberty of Westminster for the space of Three Years at the Yearly Wages of ffive Pounds diet & lodging, quitted the same about Four Years ago , since which she hath not been the Yearly Hired Servant in any one place for Twelve Months together not done any Act whereby to acquire a subsequent Settlement. And this Examinant upon her voluntary Oathfurther saith that she was on the 24th Day of November last delivered in the Workhouse of and in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields of a Female Bastard Child since baptised Mary yet living & chargeable to the said Parish . and that Benjamin Woodyet who lived Waiter at the Crown in Oxford Street had several times Canal Knowledge of horror Body & that one of which times did beget of Body the said ffemale Bastard Child and that he the said Benjamin Woodyer is the true& only ffather the of & no Man else the way years to be found or heard of she knoweth not. Sworn this 30th Day of December 1789 before Wm Hyde Eleanor Flin her Mark
