Examination TextThomas Miles aged 29 Years upon his Oath saith that oil he was Single & unmarried he was a Yearly hired Seven from the 15th Day of April 1780 to Lady day of April 1781 being one whole Year and a one hiring with Mr Thos Watts one of a Tootles of his Majestys Park called Saint James's at Constitution Gate in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields within the liberty of Westminster and that Yearly Wages of ffive Pounds diet & lodging since which she hath not been a Yearly hired Servant in any one place for Twelve Months together rentedTen Pounds by the Year not done any Act whereby to acquire a subsequent Settlement , that he was Married to his present Wife Susannah at the Banished Charge of St Saviour Southwark may 23rd 1786. Sworn this 3d Day of April 1790 before Thos Gordon Thomas Miles
