| Examination Text | The Examination of Gordon Leslie in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields taken this [blank] Day of April 1777. This Examinant on her oath [sic] saith that she is 10 years of age, that she is the reputed son of Charles Leslie by Ann his wife both deceased, that her father lived in and rented an house in Princes Court in Hedge Lane in the Parish aforesaid the space of [blank] years at the yearly rent of 15 pounds besides taxes and that her father and mother died in the occupation of the said house which is about [blank] years ago.
